What Online Cleaning Supplies is doing? 

You might  like to know about the measures OCS  has taken to manage the risks of exposure to COVID-19 when we visit clients’ homes and businesses and you visit us.

Showrooms are closed but we are still OPEN !! There are limited times you can visit us in the showroom and this is generally by appointment only. We have reduced staff working on site and are minimising our contact with customers. IF you live close to us please contact us via email or phone (if we dont answer your call please leave us a message and we will get back to you) we can arrange local pickup and we will invoice you separately from the website.

We will continue to trade through email, phone and online orders. Payments can be made via the online portals or via direct transfer. To ensure the safety of our staff and the customers during the COVID-19 pandemic we are limiting access to our showrooms. This means we can no longer offer local pickup through the website or can you drop in to purchase orders like normal as staff may not be there to meet you. We recommend all orders be delivered via a no contact courier. We are trying as best we can to keep costs low. Standard products and packages will be covered under the flat $20 rate. Large bulky or multi box packages may incur and additional cost. Hand sanitiser and dangerous goods will sometimes also incur an additional surcharge. Many couriers are no longer accepting hand sanitiser so we have to use those that specifically send dangerous goods. This may cause the delivery price to increase but we will absorb wherever possible.  This is a temporary measure which will be reviewed as the situation changes over time. As you can appreciate it is taking a little longer to pack our orders as sometimes we are awaiting fresh supply to arrive in our store and products on back order. We will keep you updated with any changes to timing. We appreciate your understanding as we navigate this together.

The Covid-19 outbreak has led to a unique set of circumstances. Our suppliers have had to increase their cost of chemicals and products to us and we unfortunately cannot absorb the price increases. The raw materials for supplies, shipping costs and the low Australian dollar has lead to this price increase. As time continues we are unsure if there will be further increases by our suppliers but we will endeavour to be as transparent as possible. Some suppliers have also suggested that prices may come back down now supply chains and getting better if these reductions come through we will pass the full price reduction to you.

Our Team Procedures;

These include:

  • increased hygiene measures,
  • physical distancing where possible,
  • not performing certain tasks,
  • being only trades onsite whilst completing our jobs,
  • conducting meetings outside,
  • minimising visits to clients homes and businesses and providing estimates for works over phone and emails.

We will also keep you well informed, if for some reason a member of our team is exposed we will notify all of our clients and maintain quarantine until cleared.

What you can do 

It is important to us to be able to continue to provide our regular service to you and your family at this time.

Please help us to manage the risks to the health and safety of our staff by cooperating with the measures we have outlined above. Do the same things for us that you are doing to keep your own family and friends healthy and well.

This includes frequent handwashing, covering your nose and mouth when you need to cough or sneeze with the crook of your arm or clean tissue and observing rules for physical distancing. More information can be found on the Department of Health website:
